Farrowing is a critical period for sows. Indeed, this stage is favorable to digestive disorders such as constipation. Most of the time these troubles are closely linked to dysbiosis and can have harmful consequences on animals. To manage these situations, intestinal microbiota modulation could be an effective way. The aim of this study, presented by Dr. Sekhou CISSE, was to evaluate the effect of a solution based on standardized Citrus Extract, Nor-Spice AB®, on peripartum sows and their offspring’s.
